WordPress plugin
Legba Volunteer
Volunteer management that replaces the paper sheet and the spreadsheet.
Publish what you need help with, let people choose their shifts, and know who is coming, who came and how many hours each person gave. No account needed for volunteers.
In the free version
The free version has been submitted to WordPress.org and is waiting for review. Until it is listed, the 14-day trial of Pro is the way to try the plugin.
Opportunities and shifts
Each opportunity has its shifts: role, date, hours and number of places. Shifts that end after midnight are supported.
Sign-up without an account
Volunteers tick their shifts and give their name and email. Full shifts feed a waitlist that confirms people automatically.
Ask for availability
Share a private link and let people tick every date and hour that suits them, then put them on the schedule.
Volunteer applications
An application form with weekly availability, interests and skills. Approve applications or accept them at once.
Emails and reminders
Confirmation with a calendar file and a cancel link, "a place opened up" notices and a reminder before each shift.
Attendance and hours
Mark people present, record hours, print the attendance sheet and export everything to CSV.
Legba Volunteer Pro adds
- Reminders by text message (SMS) and WhatsApp with your own Twilio account
- A second reminder and "send a reminder now"
- Invitations by email, with the list of who answered
- The availability grid to build the schedule
- Messages to the volunteers of a shift or an opportunity
- Certificates of volunteer hours, for all the hours or for a period
- Several shifts at once, moving all the dates, duplicating an opportunity
- A thank-you email with the hours recorded, and a dashboard widget
